Over 26 years in real estate — including 24 as a Broker — I interviewed thousands of people entering this profession.
Some were well prepared and went on to build remarkable careers. Others had already spent nearly $2,000 obtaining their license without the financial resources to survive until their first commission. Many treated real estate as a side hustle without a clear plan.
One truth became clear over time. The agents who succeeded were those who made a genuine commitment to building a career — not simply chasing income. Real estate is, and always has been, a relationship business.
